Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the cottage and garden or explore the surrounding area. The cottage is roughly between Woodbridge and Aldeburgh just outside the village of Blaxhall. It’s pretty rural, no shop!, but there is a pub in the village (the Ship), which is about a ten minute walk.
The nearest beach is Aldeburgh (8 miles – 15 mins) or Shingle Street 12 Miles – 20 mins). Orford with it’s smokery, pubs and castle is 6 miles away and Snape Maltings Concert Hall and shops are in the next village (Snape), a couple of miles away.
The cottage has two double bedrooms and an upstairs bathroom!, kitchen and living room with log burner. There’s a good size private garden with views over open countryside. It’s comfortable for four with a sofa bed in the sitting room for a fifth person.

· Log burner – all logs supplied
· TV, WiFi – it is the country and TV reception isn’t great!
· Proper central heating!
· Private West facing garden – meaning there’s sun, somewhere, most of the day.

· Parking (for one car/two at a squeeze)
· Bedding supplied – please bring your own towels
The rate is £80 per night. Minimum two night stay.
